Modash alternatives for small agencies in 2026 (with pricing)

The best Modash alternative for a small agency is DataAtScale. You pay per result with no monthly fee or annual contract, you set a Sponsored posts filter before the search, and each TikTok or Instagram creator comes with the public email when listed, at $0.144 to $0.24.

The other tools we compared follow below.

We compared Modash with nine other influencer discovery tools. Each figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read on 4 November.

A small agency should first check whether the tool has a contract, what each email costs, and whether it filters for creators who have done sponsorships.

Modash publishes its prices, while Upfluence and HypeAuditor do not. Each price below links to the vendor's page, and where we did the sum ourselves, the table shows it.

Key takeaways

  1. We recommend DataAtScale for a small agency: a TikTok or Instagram creator with email costs several times less than a Modash unlocked email, which is at least $1.25 each when you use the full quota.
  2. Modash charges $199 a month on its Essentials plan when billed yearly, according to its pricing page.
  3. Upfluence requires a 12-month minimum contract, and neither it nor HypeAuditor publishes a price.
  4. Heepsy's Starter plan costs $69 a month billed annually, and Heepsy says it has no annual lock-in.
  5. Modash caps its Essentials plan at 2 team members, so a third person on the account needs Performance.

Modash vs Upfluence vs HypeAuditor: pricing for small agencies

Modash is the only one of the three that publishes a price, from $199 a month billed yearly.

Upfluence quotes a custom price based on the modules, team size and program volume, and it sets a 12-month minimum. HypeAuditor's pricing page shows no dollar figure and offers a demo instead.

On platforms, Upfluence indexes Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Pinterest and X, and HypeAuditor covers Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and Twitch. Modash covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Key takeaway: If you need Twitch or X, Upfluence and HypeAuditor cover them, but you'll have to book a call to learn the price.

DataAtScale

DataAtScale is our own tool. It covers YouTube, TikTok and Instagram only, and its location filter works by country, not state or city.

There is no CRM integration, but the tools are available through a REST API with webhooks.

You set the filters before the search runs, including sponsored posts, has an email, follower range and country. You can also paste up to 10 YouTube channels or Instagram accounts and get creators like them. On TikTok you can paste up to 25 creators.

For agencies, you get a workspace per client, lists with your own statuses, and read-only share links that need no sign-in. You can pay as you go, with no monthly fee and no annual contract.

You aren't charged for a search that finds nothing, and only emails that work are charged. The emails are the addresses creators list publicly on their own profiles, and TikTok and Instagram results show them inline.

Modash

Modash covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube and publishes its prices. Its page lists 380M+ creators. It offers 37 filters, lookalike search and a filter for creators who have worked with other brands. Its API comes as a Discovery API and a Raw API, priced separately; our influencer database API comparison covers what each API costs.

Billed yearly, Essentials costs $199 a month. Performance costs $499 a month on the same terms. Modash's FAQ says yearly billing saves you $100 a month.

Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. It is meant for campaigns above 250 creators. Modash also offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card. The trial unlocks only 6 creator emails.

Essentials unlocks 150 creator emails a month. Performance unlocks 400 and allows more team members. Affiliate management is limited to Performance Annual and Enterprise.

Upfluence: custom pricing and a 12-month minimum

Upfluence offers an account manager and search across six platforms, including Twitch, Pinterest and X. Its pricing is custom, and it states that its plans carry a fixed platform fee with no percentage of sales.

Upfluence says its minimum contract is 12 months, which rules it out for an agency that can't commit for a year. It has no sponsorship filter, though its vetting covers sponsorship effectiveness.

HypeAuditor

HypeAuditor covers Twitch and X alongside the big three. Its homepage lists 227M+ creator profiles. It also advertises 35+ filters, lookalike search and AI Scout. Its sponsorship filter is brand mentions in the last 180 days, and it also has a contact-info filter and a Discovery API.

Its pricing page shows no figure, so you'll get a price only after a demo call.

Heepsy

Heepsy's Starter plan is $69 a month when billed annually. There is also a Free plan with 500 results.

Starter includes 300 outreach emails a month, and Heepsy confirms there is no annual lock-in.

Heepsy includes contact emails only for advanced profiles you've unlocked, where the creator has public contact details. API access sits under its custom plans. We found no sponsorship filter on its pricing page.

Favikon

Favikon sells credits, so you pay for each creator you look at. A search uses 1 credit per creator in the results. Finding a creator's email uses 3 credits.

Credit packs start at €50, and unused credits carry over. Favikon also lists monthly plans in euros, but the page doesn't make clear which figure is the monthly rate.

Its API is an add-on, from €199 a month. The sponsored post filter is on higher tiers.

GRIN

GRIN runs gifting and creator payments through one system. It has a free plan, and paid plans start at $200 a month.

Each paid plan also adds a management fee on wallet deposits, starting at 10% on Starter. GRIN is month to month and self-serve up to Scale, and Enterprise is an annual agreement. GRIN exports contact emails from Starter, offers creator and audience lookalikes and has a bi-directional API. Its filters cover performance and audience, with no sponsorship filter stated.

influencers.club

influencers.club sells credits, and its pricing page says 1 credit gets you one valid email export with real-time social stats.

The page contradicts itself on the entry price. The plan card says starting from $140 a month. The FAQ on the same page says the Dashboard plan starts at $199 a month with no annual commitment. Confirm the figure before you budget. It lists a brand collaborations filter, lookalikes and an API on the Pro plan.

Collabstr

Collabstr is a marketplace, so it does a different job from a search tool. You hire from a vetted marketplace of over 1.3 million creators who opted in.

The Pro plan is $249 a month billed annually. Hiring a creator adds a 10% fee to their price, and the fee is lower on Premium. Its pricing page doesn't state email access or an API, it lists no sponsorship filter, and chat and hiring happen in the platform. It matches creators from a brief instead of lookalike search.

CreatorIQ and Influencity

CreatorIQ is for enterprise teams. Its pricing page only offers a Request pricing now form, and it advertises a bi-directional API.

Influencity covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and it lets you cancel a monthly plan before the next billing cycle. We did not quote its prices because its pricing page didn't show them when we checked.

What each email or creator costs

The cost table above works out one price for each tool.

DataAtScale charges in credits. A credit costs $0.01 on Pay as you go and as little as $0.006 on yearly plans. A TikTok or Instagram creator from Find similar or Search by topic is 24 credits, with the public email included when the creator lists one. On YouTube, finding a channel is 24 credits. Getting its business email from Get channel emails is 12 more, charged only when an email is found.

The Modash figures assume you use the full monthly quota, and the quota also covers profile data exports to a CRM. Unused emails raise the real cost per email.

An unlocked email alone costs at least $1.25 on Modash. On DataAtScale, a TikTok or Instagram creator with their email costs at most $0.24. That makes a Modash email about 5.2 to 13.8 times the price of our creator with email. The Modash side assumes you use the full monthly quota, and our side includes finding the creator.

Some plans price a bare search result lower, such as Heepsy at $0.0023 to $0.018 a result, but a result there doesn't include the email.
