DataAtScale has an API for YouTube, TikTok, TikTok Shop and Instagram creators on all plans, Pay as you go included. It uses the same credits as the dashboard with no annual minimum, while Modash's API starts at $10,000 a year.
We recommend DataAtScale for teams that want an API without a yearly contract, because the API is on all plans, uses the same credits as the dashboard and includes the email with each TikTok or Instagram creator.
We compared DataAtScale with six other influencer marketing APIs, using each vendor's own pages read in November 2026. Three of the six publish no API price at all.
Key takeaways
- We recommend DataAtScale's API: it's on all plans, Pay as you go included, with no annual minimum and no separate API fee.
- A TikTok or Instagram creator costs 24 credits on DataAtScale, which works out to $0.144 to $0.24.
- Modash lists its Raw API from $10,000 a year and its Discovery API from $16,200 a year, priced separately from its platform.
- DataAtScale charges API calls from the same credits as the dashboard, as CreatorDB and influencers.club do, while Modash prices its API separately.
- Of the seven, only influencers.club and Upfluence name a CRM, and DataAtScale names none.
- DataAtScale also connects to Claude and ChatGPT Business through MCP, so your team can ask for creators without writing code.
DataAtScale influencer database API
The API gives you the dashboard's tools over REST. You get Find similar and Search by topic on each platform, plus creator lookups. You also get Get channel emails for YouTube and the TikTok Shop searches, including Look up GMV.
You make a key under Settings > Developers in the dashboard. Each call sends it as Authorization: Bearer <key>.
A TikTok or Instagram result carries the creator's email when one is listed. The emails are the addresses creators publish on their own profiles, and you pay only for emails that work.
The API covers only YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and its location filters work by country, not by state or city.

Influencer database API pricing
On DataAtScale, a TikTok or Instagram creator costs 24 credits, with their email when one is listed. That's $0.144 to $0.24, depending on your plan, and a YouTube channel with its email is $0.216 to $0.36.
A search that finds nothing costs nothing, and the dashboard charges the same credits.
Modash prices its platform and API separately, so a team already paying for the dashboard needs a second contract.
influencers.club says a credit costs $0.23 to $0.42, depending on plan. Its pricing page tells you to upgrade from the Dashboard plan to get API access, but its API page lists the API on the same plan.
CreatorDB's credits run from $0.040 on Free to $0.010 on Enterprise. IQFluence, Phyllo and Upfluence ask you to contact sales or publish no API price.
If you want dashboard prices instead, best influencer discovery tools compares them side by side.
Key takeaway: If you don't want a yearly contract, compare cost per creator, not plan price.
How a request flows through the influencer marketing API
Your developer follows five steps, and the docs list the exact fields for each one.
- Get a key. Create it under Settings > Developers, and your developer adds it to each request.
- Start a search. Send your seed creators or a topic, plus the filters you want, to a search path such as
/v1/tiktok/topic-search. Filters are set here, before the search runs, so the creators you get back already match. You can call its/estimatepath first to see what the search will cost before you run it. - Wait for it to finish. A search usually takes 2 to 8 minutes, and your script can check back at
/{task_id}or get a message (a webhook) when it's done. - Read the results. They come back a page at a time from
/{task_id}/results. Find similar and Search by topic return up to 1,000 creators a search, and the TikTok Shop searches up to 20,000. - Write them to your sheet or CRM. Your own script maps each row to a contact or a spreadsheet line.
DataAtScale gives you the API on all plans, the same credits as the dashboard and MCP for Claude and ChatGPT Business. Sign up for free to try it in the influencer discovery tool and run a search in the dashboard. When you're ready, create a key under Settings > Developers and call the same search from code.
Influencer marketing API CRM integration
DataAtScale has no built-in connector for HubSpot, Salesforce or any other CRM. A short script on your side reads finished searches and writes the contacts through your CRM's own API.
Key each record on the creator's ID on the platform, because handles change. IQFluence gives the same advice: upsert on the immutable creator ID, never the display name a creator can change.
Some vendors do name CRMs. influencers.club says it works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, n8n and Zapier, and Upfluence lists HubSpot and Zapier.
Modash and IQFluence say their APIs can enrich or sync a CRM but name no product.
Key takeaway: Key each CRM record on the creator's platform ID, not the handle.
Connect Claude or ChatGPT with MCP
You can also connect DataAtScale to Claude or ChatGPT through MCP, a standard way to plug tools into AI assistants: paste one URL, sign in, and your assistant can find creators for you. The URL is https://mcp.dataatscale.com/mcp, and searches run on your account's credits.
ChatGPT works with Business workspaces only, where an admin adds the custom MCP server. In Claude, add it under Customize > Connectors.
Modash makes the same split between the two: MCP is for asking questions, and the API is for building syncs and pipelines. Key takeaway: Pick MCP when a person asks and the API when a script runs.

IQFluence and Upfluence link their docs from their API pages.
DataAtScale doesn't publish a rate number, but several searches can run at once and higher plans run more. influencers.club allows 300 requests per minute plus a daily Discovery credit limit, and CreatorDB allows up to 6,000 calls per minute. IQFluence says it supports up to 10 requests per second and asks you to confirm the ceiling for your plan.
FAQ
Is there an influencer database with an API my agency can plug into our own CRM?
Yes, and we recommend DataAtScale. DataAtScale's API is on all plans, Pay as you go included, and a short script on your side writes each finished search into your CRM, keyed on the creator's platform ID. It has no built-in CRM connector, while influencers.club names HubSpot and Salesforce and Upfluence names HubSpot.
How much does an influencer database API cost?
On DataAtScale, a TikTok or Instagram creator with their email costs $0.144 to $0.24, with no annual minimum. That price includes the email with each TikTok or Instagram creator, and the API uses the same credits as the dashboard. Modash's API starts at $10,000 a year, and CreatorDB's credits run from $0.010 to $0.040. CreatorDB's included plan credits expire at the end of the month, while purchased credits last one year.

- Cost figures are our own sums: a plan price divided by its quota, or credits times the credit price, with the low end the cheapest plan and the high end the dearest and the full quota used. A creator found is one search result or opened profile, an email is one unlocked or verified email, and creator + email is both. For DataAtScale, TikTok and Instagram creators include the email when one is listed, and YouTube emails come from the email lookup.
