How often influencer tools update their data in 2026

TL;DRMost influencer tools publish a refresh schedule for follower counts, from daily at HypeAuditor to at least weekly at Modash, but almost none publish one for emails. DataAtScale checks profile stats when you search and has a Live re-check mode for YouTube emails.

How often Modash, HypeAuditor, Upfluence, CreatorDB, Heepsy and others update follower counts, engagement, audience data and emails, and how to test it before you pay.

How often influencer tools update their data in 2026

DataAtScale is the tool we recommend when you need up-to-date creator data. Search results come from up-to-date creator profiles, and YouTube emails can be re-checked live.

We read the help pages of seven other influencer tools to see how often each one refreshes its data. Most publish a schedule for followers and engagement, and almost none publish one for emails.

Here are our key findings:

  1. DataAtScale checks profile stats when you search, refreshes TikTok and Instagram emails on each search, and has a Live re-check mode for YouTube emails.
  2. Modash refreshes follower counts at least weekly and audience data monthly.
  3. HypeAuditor updates its main metrics daily and recalculates the full report once in 30 days.
  4. Upfluence refreshes creator data within 1 to 10 days but does not update emails unless they bounce or someone edits them.
  5. CreatorDB says its whole database is updated within 12 days on average.

We found no published refresh schedule for GRIN, IQFluence or Influencer Hero. Our comparison of discovery tools covers those tools on other points.

Find similar and Search by topic check each creator's profile stats when you search. That covers subscribers or followers, views, video count, last upload, bio, verified status and picture. You can start from the influencer discovery tool.

TikTok and Instagram emails are refreshed on each search, and advanced data is always under 30 days old.

For YouTube emails, the Get channel emails tool has a Live re-check mode that checks the channel again when you ask, so the email is current.

Key takeaway: Use Live re-check on YouTube emails right before you send your outreach.

Modash's search filters and profile pages run on different schedules

On Modash, followers, name and username update at least weekly. Basic data such as engagement rate, bio and post count refreshes in two weeks, and audience demographics update monthly.

Its search filters FAQ says search results are updated within 2 weeks, and an unlocked profile refreshes about each 2 to 4 weeks.

So the numbers you filter on can be older than the ones on a profile page. Our guide to search filters lists which filters to ask about.

Modash says less-viewed profiles update when someone views or pulls them, so creators few people look at are likely to hold the oldest data in your list.

Key takeaway: Check less-viewed creators by hand before you build a shortlist on Modash.

HypeAuditor separates daily metrics from the full report

Followers, views and engagement rate on a HypeAuditor TikTok report update daily, but the rest of the report is recalculated once in 30 days. So sections of one report can show different dates.

Its Instagram page gives the same split. Its YouTube page says audience demography updates once a month while the rest updates daily.

Key takeaway: Read the date on each report section, because audience numbers can lag the follower count by a month.

Upfluence updates emails only after a bounce or a manual edit

Upfluence creator data updates within 1 to 10 days, depending on platform activity, creator engagement and whether you monitor the creator. Posts for creators you don't track update within 5 to 10 days.

For emails, its help page says a bounced email is removed automatically. Otherwise, Upfluence does not update emails unless someone changes them manually.

A TikTok creator's audience data can also be missing instead of old. Upfluence says that if the data is still missing after you click refresh, it does not have it yet.

Key takeaway: On Upfluence, an email that has never bounced may still be old, so confirm it on the creator's own channel before outreach.

CreatorDB publishes only an average refresh time

CreatorDB updates about 600,000 creator profiles a day. Its whole database is updated within 12 days on average, faster for creators it rates as more important.

Key takeaway: Ask CreatorDB how old the oldest profile in your results can be.

influencers.club, Heepsy and Favikon let you refresh a profile

influencers.club says its enrichment and post endpoints return current data on each call and that discovery indexes update on a rolling basis. So a search result can be older than the same profile after you enrich it.

Heepsy says profiles shown in search reflect data from its last update. It tells you to click Refresh to get the most recent data.

Favikon charges for the same step. A profile refresh costs 0.5 Favicoin, and enriching a profile costs 3 Favicoins, so budget for refreshing a shortlist before you buy.

Key takeaway: On these three tools, refresh your shortlist before you export it, and count the refresh cost on Favikon.

Check before you pay

You can test influencer data accuracy in any tool's trial with a shortlist of creators you already know.

  1. Compare follower counts with the live profile. Modash says small differences are normal and large ones may point to a problem.
  2. Check the last post date. Open a few profiles and compare the last post the tool shows with the creator's live page.
  3. Open a few creators from a saved list. Modash says deleted accounts can stay in saved lists until the next refresh, so check each profile still exists.
  4. Ask for the refresh schedule in writing. Ask for the oldest age, the refresh cost and where a last-updated date appears. A blog post by Socialpruf, which sells its own tool, found no tool that shows a last-updated date beside a metric.

Live re-check on the Get channel emails tool checks a YouTube channel again right before you send, so the email is current. You can sign up for free to try it with the influencer discovery tool.

FAQ

Is HypeAuditor reliable?

HypeAuditor's YouTube reports update daily except audience demographics, which update once a month. Its help pages publish no schedule for emails, so check addresses yourself before outreach.

Is Modash.io reliable?

Modash's own pages give two schedules for the same data, so ask which one covers the filters you use. It also says large gaps between its follower count and the live profile may point to a problem. DataAtScale checks profile stats when you search on Find similar and Search by topic.
