DataAtScale is the tool to use if your agency wants sponsorship, email and video-style filters set before the search. It also lets you set country, language, gender, size, average views and follower growth before you search, so the list holds only creators you asked for. Other influencer search tools offer a different mix, and the tables at the end show which tool has which filter.
We read the filter documentation of nine influencer search tools on 4 November 2026.
If you run searches for clients, start with sponsorship history and email, because those two decide whether a creator is worth contacting.
Key takeaways
- DataAtScale offers a Sponsored posts filter on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and you set it before the search.
- Modash and HypeAuditor also filter by past brand work, while Upfluence has only an affiliate-creators toggle.
- DataAtScale filters by country only, while Favikon filters by city and Influencity filters by city and US state on Instagram.
- DataAtScale filters by follower growth over 90 days and by average views, likes and comments, but it has no engagement-rate, last-posted or audience-demographics filter.
- DataAtScale is the only tool in this guide whose documentation lists TikTok Shop sales (GMV) and on-camera video style as filters.
Filter by sponsored posts and brand collaborations
A sponsored posts filter keeps only creators who have already posted paid content. Set it before you search and your outreach goes only to creators who take sponsorships.
DataAtScale calls it Sponsored posts, and it works on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. You switch it on before the search starts. Find similar YouTube channels shows this filter on a real search.
Modash calls it the brand collaborations filter, and HypeAuditor filters by brand mentions in the last 180 days. influencers.club has a has_done_brand_deals field for all three platforms. IQFluence lists brand collabs as a filter.
Influencity's Partnerships filter covers posts tagged #ad or paid partnership, but its documentation names it for Instagram only. Upfluence offers an affiliate-creators toggle for posts with an affiliate link or coupon in the last 90 days.
Favikon's sponsored setting sorts posts, not creators, and needs a Standard or Pro Custom plan. Heepsy's pages do not state a sponsorship filter.
Filter by a named brand
Some tools let you pick a brand and return creators who have promoted it. Modash has a Brands filter, Influencity matches brands on Instagram, and influencers.club has a brands field on all three platforms.
DataAtScale has no named-brand filter. It filters for any sponsored post, so a competitor check is a separate step.
A useful agency move is to search a competitor's brand name and pitch the creators who promoted it to your client.
Filter by has email
A has-email filter keeps only creators with an email address you can use.
DataAtScale has an Email filter on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and TikTok Shop searches. The addresses are ones creators publish on their own channels. For YouTube, get YouTube channel emails returns the business email behind a channel's "View email address" button.
Upfluence has Show only creators with emails, Heepsy filters for a public email address, and Favikon has Only show profiles with an email. HypeAuditor lists contact info availability.
Influencity has a Has email box, but its FAQ says emails do not appear when you export a search. Modash's filter list does not name an email filter, and influencers.club's API spec has none.
An agency running outreach for several clients can set this filter once and reuse the saved search.
Location filters: country, city and state
A country filter keeps creators based in the markets you sell to. DataAtScale lets you pick countries to include or countries to exclude on all three platforms. Search TikTok by topic lets you set the country before you search.
DataAtScale does not filter by city or US state. Favikon has a City field, and Influencity filters by country, city and US state on Instagram, with other networks by country only.
HypeAuditor's help says to check whether a location filter means the creator or their audience. Modash filters by audience location, down to city level on Instagram.
If your client ships only to the UK, pick United Kingdom before you search so the list holds creators whose followers can buy.
Follower and subscriber range
Most tools in this guide filter by size, and DataAtScale has minimum and maximum settings for YouTube subscribers and for TikTok and Instagram followers.
YouTube also has minimum and maximum videos and total views. TikTok adds following, friends and likes received, and Instagram adds total posts.
Heepsy and IQFluence do not name a follower range in the pages we read.
Set a maximum as well as a minimum for a micro-creator brief, so the search returns no accounts with 2 million followers.
Average views, likes and comments
This filter sets a minimum or maximum for what a typical post gets. DataAtScale has average views per video and per Short on YouTube, and average views, likes, comments, shares and saves on TikTok.
Instagram has no average views setting, so you set average likes and comments per post instead.
Modash, Influencity, Favikon and influencers.club offer average views. HypeAuditor names average Reels views, Heepsy names estimated reach, and Upfluence does not state one.
A creator with 400,000 followers and 3,000 average views is a different buy from one with 40,000 followers and 20,000 views.
Follower growth, engagement rate and last posted
A follower growth filter sets a minimum or maximum for how fast an account grew. DataAtScale has Min and Max follower growth over 90 days (%) on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and you set it before you search.
DataAtScale has no engagement-rate or last-posted filter. Modash, Favikon, influencers.club and Influencity offer engagement rate, last posted and growth on at least some platforms. Modash's last posted filter accepts 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, and Upfluence has Last activity and 90-day growth.
HypeAuditor filters by most recent post, Influencity by last post on TikTok and YouTube, and Heepsy by activity.
If the brief says active in the last month, set a minimum follower growth over 90 days and a minimum for average views in DataAtScale, which are the nearest settings. On DataAtScale's TikTok Shop search, Last promoted within sets how many days ago a creator last promoted a shop.
Language and gender
DataAtScale filters by language and by creator gender on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Language keeps creators who speak to your market, and gender keeps channels run by the kind of person your client wants.
Modash and HypeAuditor filter by audience language, and Modash's gender setting is about the audience too.
Upfluence, Influencity, Heepsy, Favikon and influencers.club offer creator gender. Influencity also notes that choosing Male or Female keeps brand accounts out of a search.
A women's-wear client usually wants creator gender, and in DataAtScale you set it before the search.
Audience location, age and gender
Audience filters describe a creator's followers. DataAtScale has no audience-location, audience-age or audience-gender filter.
Modash, HypeAuditor, Upfluence, Influencity and IQFluence offer audience age and gender. Upfluence limits them to Instagram and TikTok, and influencers.club offers its audience field on Instagram only.
Verified, monetized and business account filters
A verified badge filter keeps accounts the platform itself has verified, and DataAtScale offers it on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
Favikon's Verified means a creator who has claimed a profile on Favikon, not a platform badge.
DataAtScale also has a Monetized filter on all three platforms. Among the other tools, only influencers.club names a monetization field, is_monetizing for YouTube.
For account type, DataAtScale's Run by filter on YouTube picks a person or a brand or organisation, and TikTok has a Business account filter. Upfluence has an Include brand accounts toggle, and Modash filters by regular, business or creator accounts.
TikTok Shop filters: sells on TikTok Shop and GMV
On TikTok, DataAtScale has a Sells on TikTok Shop filter. The TikTok Shop search adds a market (United States, United Kingdom or Singapore) and a category. It also filters by 7-day GMV, GMV per 1,000 views, GMV growth, shops promoted and Last promoted within a set number of days.
influencers.club has a has_tik_tok_shop field but no GMV filter. The other tools' pages we read do not state either one.
Video style filters
DataAtScale has video style filters on all three platforms, which you set before you search. Find similar Instagram accounts and search Instagram by topic both take them. Find similar TikTok creators and search YouTube by topic take the same filters. They cover:
- Made by: real people, AI-generated or faceless.
- Creator on camera, Production (natural or polished) and Lighting.
- Children on camera and Pets on camera.
- Presenter age, from 18-24 to 55+.
- Format: talking head, product reviews, tutorials, vlogs, POV or skits.
- Filmed at: home, kitchen, bedroom or vanity, gym, car, outdoors, studio, office or store.
A kitchen-gadget client can ask for creators filmed in a kitchen who show their face, with no pets in frame.
No other tool's filter documentation names an on-camera, faceless or filmed-at setting. The nearest is Favikon's post format, which covers short video, long video, images, carousels and text posts.
Which tools offer which filter
Not stated means the tool's documentation, linked from its name, does not name the filter. The tool may still have it in the app, so check in a trial before you rule it out. The sections above give platform limits, and the Full data section lists the source for each fact.
