How YouTube niche search works

01

Describe the channels you want

Write one sentence, in any language. For example: “Home espresso gear reviewers in the US.”

02

Add filters if you need them

The same filters as Find similar channels: size, country, language, email and video style.

03

Get channels ranked by fit

Each channel gets a score from 0 to 1, and the best fit comes first.

04

Save, share or export

Save results to a list, share a read-only link with your client, or download a CSV.

Who builds a channel list and what they do with it

Spreadsheet teams

Your outreach plan lives in a spreadsheet.

HowDownload the CSV and add the columns you need next to the channel data.

Country managers

You need a separate list for each market.

HowRun the same description once per country filter and save each result to its own list.

Agencies with several clients

Each client needs a list of its own.

HowKeep a workspace per client and label its lists with your own statuses.

Teams running the search again

Last month’s list is already in use.

HowLeave out the lists you already have, so only new channels come back.

Shared reviews

A manager has to approve the list before anyone writes to a creator.

HowShare a read-only link that needs no sign-in.

How to write a good description

Be specific about the topic. “Espresso machine reviews” works better than “coffee”.
Say who watches. “Personal finance for new graduates” works better than “finance”.
Name the video type if it matters, like tutorials, vlogs or long interviews.
Use the country filter for where a channel is based, and the language filter for what it speaks.

YouTube channel list FAQ

How do I export a YouTube channel list?

Run the search, then download a CSV from the results or save the channels to a list.

How do I get a list of YouTube channels for one country?

Describe the niche and set the country filter to that country, then run the same description with another country to build a separate list for each market.

Can I keep new lists from overlapping old ones?

Yes. Add your saved lists to Leave out and creators you already have are dropped before you pay.

Can my team mark progress on the list?

Yes. Lists take your own statuses and labels, in a table or a board, and a team activity log shows who changed what.

How many channels fit in one list?

A single search returns up to 5,000 channels. Run more searches with different descriptions to build a longer list.
