Before you reach out
Runners don't race in gear they haven't trained in, and the Austin Marathon tells its runners to "Break in your shoes at least 3-4 weeks before your event." Several creators here film a race build as a series, such as The FOD Runner's 69:30 half marathon videos and Sweat Elite's attempt at 2:15 in the Melbourne Marathon. Ask each creator for the date of their next race, and get race shoes, gels or a watch to them at least a month before it, so your product shows up in the long runs as well as on the start line. Alastair Running tests each shoe in a US men's size 9, so send that size.
