Before you reach out
Kate Ventures' recent Utah series camps in Zion and Bryce Canyon, two US national parks. Under the EXPLORE Act, the US National Park Service says a content creator usually needs no filming permit or fee when eight or fewer people take part and the shoot "Uses hand-carried equipment only". A brief that pushes the group past eight or needs a campsite closed to other visitors may need a park permit, with location fees. For a US creator filming in a national park, keep the brief to what they can carry in themselves.
